     Mason Jar Pasta Salad

Category   Salads - Soups - Sidedishes
Sub Category   Quick Meals
Servings   1 each
Preptime   10 minutes

Ingredients
1 lb. Rotini Pasta
2-3 Cups Chopped veggies
ie. Cucumber, Broccoli, Red Bell Pepper, etc
Italian dressing to taste
Parmesan cheese to taste

Instructions
This one is super easy to make and can satisfy you when you have little time to cook. Cook your pasta as you normally would in a pot of salted water. While that's cooking make sure you have your jars and the rest of your ingredients ready.
Once the pasta is done and relatively cooled you can start layering the salad in the jar. Pour the desired amount of Italian dressing in a jar. Sprinkle the Parmesan over.
Then add in your pasta and layer your veggies on top. Screw tightly and toss into the fridge.
When you are ready to eat it just grab it, shake it up good and chow down. Saves a ton of time especially after chasing a toddler around all day. This too can be twisted into any favorite salad recipe even leafy salads. I got some wonderful recipes off Pintrest and watch the layering, nothing is more unappetizing than wilted lettuce or mushy croutons.
