     Sesame Green Beans

Ingredients
1.5 lbs green beans, ends trimmed
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dark sesame oil
Kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
 

Instructions
Fill a large pot (with lid) with 1/2 inch of water. Add green beans. Cover pot and bring water to simmer over medium, high heat. Cook until beans become bright green and crisp tender, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain in colander and rinse with cold running water. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
In a large, deep skillet, over medium, low heat, toast sesame seeds until lightly browned and fragrant, about 4 minutes, shaking pan to prevent scorching. Remove pan from heat and drizzle in olive oil and sesame oil, then green beans.
Return pan back to heat, toss beans quickly and thoroughly with tongs to rewarm and coat in seeds and oil. Cook until beans are warmed through, 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
