     Root beer pulled pork

Ingredients
2- 3 pounds boneless pork sirloin or pork tenderloin
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 medium onions cut thinnly
1 cup rootbeer
6 cloves garlic
6-8 dashes of hot pepper sauce if desired
6 dashes of liquid smoke
 
Sauce
3 cups rootbeer
1 cup tomato sauce
2 tsp allspice
Kaiser or hamburger buns
tomatoes, lettuce as toppings if desired

Instructions
Trim fat from the meat. cut meat into pieces that will fit into a crock pot. Prior to placing into the crockpot, sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper and brown on all sides. Transfer to crock pot
Add the onions, 1 cups of root beer and the garlic. Simmer for 8-10 hours on low When do pull pork apart with two forks
Meanwhile cook the sauce by adding 3 cups of root beer into a sauce pan and 1 can of bottled chili sauce or (make your own- 1 cup worth)
When meat is done add shredded and the root beer concentrate, 6-8 hot pepper drops and 6 shakes of liquid smoke ( if you like liquid smoke flavor). If you still need more flavor or you want a more intense BBQ flavor add your favorite BBQ sauce. Ours is Bulls-eye original.
