Beat butter for 1 mn. Add sugars, and beat until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, vanilla, and vanilla bean seeds on high
Separate bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, bsoda, and salt. Low speed,
slowly add wet ingredients. Dough will be thick Add toffe, mix on
low. Cover dough, chill at least 3 hrs, and up to 3 days.

Remove from refrigerator, allow to sit for 20 mns or 30 mnsif
chilled longer than 3 hrs. Dough may be crumbly but work with
hands. Scoop and roll balls, about 1 Tbsp each Sprinkle salt.
350 parchment paper on cookie sheets
10 mns 11 mns if crispier, golden brown around edges
center will be soft - allow to cool 5mns
fresh 1 week, freezer - 3 mos
