1/3 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup coarse-grained Dijon mustard
1 large shallot, 1 TBLS. dark brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Cole slaw-
1/2 cup mayo, 2 TBLS. apple cider vinegar, 1 1/4 tsp. ancho chili pwder
1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 small head savoy cabbage, 1 large celery rib
1/2 cup grated carrot, kosher salt, black pepper
Instructions
Carolina Sauce-
Stir together ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to boil over
medium heat; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 8 to
10 minutes or until thickened.
Season with salt & pepper.
Slaw-
Whisk together mayo, cider, chili pwder, and sugar.
Add cabbage, celery & carrot.
salt & pepper.
Let stand 15 minutes.
