     Strawberry Flan

Ingredients
5 ounces butter, softened (low fat works well)
For the filling-
1/2 cup sugar
1 quart fresh strawberries, stems removed
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
 

Instructions
Cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Combine flour and baking powder; add to butter and egg mixture. In a greased pie pan r pastry dish, press the pastry dough into place covering the bottom and sides. Spread strawberries into dish. Sprinkle berries with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until pasty is golden brown.
