Slice carrots and put in a microwave safe bowl.
Add water. Sprinkle salt over carrots and
stir. Add brown sugar, drizzle honey over
brown sugar (don't stir!), and add butter in
pats on top of the brown sugar. Place in
microwave and cook on high for 20 minutes.
Stir and cook for an additional 15 minutes on
high. Stir again and check tenderness of
carrots. Depending upon how tender your family
likes their carrots, you may need to cook an
additional 15 minutes on high. Stir before
serving.
