     Lisa Amsden's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
cream together
1/3 c shortning
1/3 c margarine
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c sugar
Add Mix
1 1/2 c flour
 
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Then gently add
1 6 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped nuts
Instructions
Drop round Tbsp of dough on engrossed cookie sheet. Bake 8- 10 minutes at 375 until lightly browned cookies will still be soft. Cool cookies on baking sheet for approx 5 minutes, then put on wax paper to finish cooling.
