Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
4 bone-in pork loin chops (about 2 lb)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics creamy mushroom soup
1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water

Instructions
Sprinkle pork chops with pepper. Place pork chops in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle with garlic. Pour soup over pork chops.
Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours or until the pork is fork-tender. Remove pork chops from slow cooker and place on plate; cover to keep warm.
About 30 minutes before serving, make rice as directed on package. Stir together cornstarch and water. Stir cornstarch mixture into mushroom sauce in slow cooker. Heat in slow cooker 5 minutes. Serve sauce over pork chops and rice.
This is a good recipe but I made a few changes. Instead of rice I used stove top stuffing. After I added the pork chops I placed folded over aluminum foil and placed it over the chops (like a bowl that covers the total pot) fitting it close to the chops. I then made stuffing (only used hot tap water) I placed stuffing in the fitted aluminum bowl I made put the lid on and cooked for 8 hours on low. My grandkids loved it. Hope you do.
