Fry the green gram until it gives aroma. Bring water
to boil, add salt and fried gram and cook it in an
open pot. Dry grind the ginger, chilly and coconut
in a mixer.
Heat oil in a pan. Add hing followed by mustard
seeds and urad dhal. One dhal truns reddish, add the
curry leaves.
Add the grinded mixture followed by onion. Saute the
onion for less than a minute and dump the gram into
the mixture. Toss it well and serve.
