     Golden Milk

Ingredients
1/2 cup water, RO water is best
1/4 cup turmeric powder
2 cups almond or hemp milk
1 tsp. sesame oil
Stevia or agave syrup to taste
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
 

Instructions
First make a turmeric paste by heating the water and turmeric in a sauce pan set on medium/ low. Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring all the while. Add a little water if it gets too dry, you want a smooth velvety texture. Let it cool and store in a glass container in the fridge.
To make the golden milk, add 1 tsp of the paste to 2 cups almond or hemp milk in a saucepan set on medium heat. Stir to combine and heat until hot. Add the oil and stevia or agave, and the cinnamon to taste.
It makes a delicious late afternoon pick-me-up that is an anti- oxident and anti-inflammatory. Turmeric also has many other health benefits.
