Ribs - Spicy Honey-Glazed Pork Ribs

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   4 to 6

Ingredients
1 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon chili flakes
4 Tablespoons honey
2 Tablespoons fresh ginger, minced
2 Tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
6 Tablespoons seasame oil
2 sides (about 3 pounds) pork ribs

Instructions
In a bowl, mix marinade ingredients. (You can also add 1 cup of sake if you like; the recipe calls for this but we don't usually use it. If you do, though, use reduced sodium soy sauce!). Pour the marinade over the ribs and cover; let marinate several hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 300*F. Place half the marinade in a baking pan with the ribs. Turn frequently (about every 15 minutes) for 2 hours or until the meat is tender.
Under a preheated broiler or on a grill, glaze the ribs for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
Remove the ribs and cut each side into servings.
Serving Suggestions
Garlic mashed potatoes and green beans!
