     Caramel-Chocolate Squares

Ingredients
1 German Chocolatge Cake Mix
3/4 c melted butter or margarine
1/3 c evaporated milk
1-6 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 c chopped walnuts
50 caramels (1 package)
1/3 c evaporated milk
 

Instructions
Mix the cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of this on lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes
Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on partially baked cake. Spoon, then spread, caramel mixture over all. Caramel mixture is made by heating the caramels and evaporated milk over hot water.
Then spoon, and spread, the rest of the cake mix over all. Bake at 350° for 20-25 mn.
