     Rhubarb Bread

Ingredients
1-1/2 c brown sugar
2/3 c salad oil
1 egg, beaten
1 c buttermilk
2-1/2 c sifted flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c nuts
 
1-1/2 c finely chopped rhubarb
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 c sugar
Instructions
Combine ingredients in that order, stirring in the nuts and rhubarb. Pour into a loaf pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
Recipe also has 1 Tbsp butter and 1/2 c. sugar included at the bottom. Possibly to melt sugar in butter and drizzle over bread?
