In saucepan, combine pineapple with juice and sugar. Bring to
a boil. Add jello and boil 3 minutes. Reduce heat and add
cream cheese. Stir until melted and combined. Let cool.
Fold in apples, nuts, and cool whip. Fold into a glass dish (11x7
or 9 x 13) or a decorative bowl. Let set up in refrigerator until
firm (1-2 hours).
Garnish with apples, cream cheese stars and cranberries.
