     Meringue for Pies

Ingredients
1/2 c water
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
3 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c sugar
 

Instructions
Combine the water, sugar and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and cook until thick and transparent. Cool down.
Beat 3 egg whites and add the vanilla, salt and sugar to egg whites.
Combine. Cover pie. Bake until browned.
