     Salted Caramel Chocoalte Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup or 2 sticks unsalted butter
1/4 cup Crisco
1 TBS water
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
 
1 tsp. baking soda
1 12 oz package Kroger Salted Caramel Chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
Coarse Kosher Salt

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large bowl, cream butter, shortening, water and sugar until completely mixed. Add two eggs and vanilla and beat well. In a separate bowl combine flour, cocoa and baking soda and blend well.
Add dry mix gradually to the creamed mixture. Fold in the baking chips and nuts.
Drop by rounded tsp. on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Cookies will flatten as they cool. Sprinkle coarse Kosher Salt onto cookie tops while still hot. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
