     BETTYS NUT ROLL

12 C FLOUR
1 POUND CRISCO
2 C SUGAR
4 EGG YOLKS
2 EGGS
2 t. SUGAR
2 T MILK
1/4 C WARM WATER
1 LG YEAST
 
1 QT MILK
1/2 QT MILK
4 POUNDS WALNUTS GROUND
4 BEATEN EGG WHITES

Instructions
MIX FLOUR,CRISCO AND 2 C SUGAR SET ASIDE DISSOLVE YEAST IN WARM WATER AND ADD 2 t SUGAR AND 2 MIKLK . ADD EGG YOLKS AND 2 EGG WHITES.
SCALD ONE QUART MILK COOL TILL LUKE WARM. ADD TO EGG MIXTURE. THEN ADD DRY INGREDIENTS. KNEAD TO FORM SMOOTH DOUGH. LET RISE 2 HOURS. DIVIDE INTO 12 BALS LET RISE 1/2 HOUR OR DOUBLE IN SIZE. ROLL OUT EACH THIN SPREAD WITH LAYER OF HONEY. SPRINKLE WITH NUT FILLING COMPLETELY. BAKE 350 FOR 23-30 MIN TILL BROWN.. LOSEN FROM PAN . GO OVER WITH CRISCO WHILE HOT. FILNG MIX 1/2 QT MILK GROUND NUTS SUGAR AND BEATEN EGGS.
