     Cream Cheese Sugar Cut Outs

Ingredients
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
2 egg yolks
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
5-1/4 cups flour
 

Instructions
Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy, about 2 minutes, scraping sides as needed. Add sugar, beat an additional 3 minutes. Mixture should be fluffy and pale in color.
Turn mixer to medium-low speed; add egg yolks, vanilla and salt. Turn mixer to low and slowly add flour. Mix just until the flour is incorporated.
Chill dough at least 2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll on floured surface to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out and bake 10-12 minutes until lightly golden on the edges. They will not spread much. Transfer to a wire rack and cool completely.
