     Cranberry Meatballs appetizer

Ingredients
1 16 oz can jelled cranberry sauce
1 12 oz jar Heinz chili sauce
1/4 cup orange marmelade
1/4 water
2 T. soy sauce
2 T. red wine vinegar
1 t. dried red pepper flakes
1 - 2 packages frozen meatballs - we like Mama Lucia Italian style meatballs
 

Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together except meatballs. If making to eat at once, pour over meatballs and simmer over medium heat until thoroughly heated.
This recipe may be made in a crock pot. Add frozen pre- cooked meatballs to crock pot. Pour sauce over meatballs, stirring to coat meatballs. Cook on hi a couple of hours until hot.
Here is a recipe if Heinz Chili sauce is not available, or you don't want to buy it. 1 6 oz can quality tomato paste, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup Karo light corn syrup, 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar, 1 T minced onion flakes, 1 t sweet chili powder, 1 t salt, 1/2 t Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 t ground allspice, 1/8 t ground cloves, 1/8 t garlic powder, 1/8 t red chili pepper flakes, 1/8 t white pepper. Whisk everything together well and pour over meatballs.
