     Cranberry Chutney

Servings   4 cups

Ingredients
2 cups fresh Cranberries
1 cup Raisins
1/2 cup local Honey
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp. Ground Cinnamon
2 tsps. grated Fresh Ginger
1/4 tsp. fresh Nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground Cloves
1 cup Water
 
1 small Onion, chopped
3 medium Apples, cored and chopped
4 stalks Celery, chopped
1 tsp. grated Lemon Peel

Instructions
Combine cranberries, raisins, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and water in Dutch oven. Place over medium heat and cook 15 minutes. Stir in onion, apples, and celery and cook 15 minutes more. Remove from heat, fold in lemon peel and serve.
Chutney can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container in the freezer. SRJ notes- I cooked this for almost 2 hours and reduced the cinnamon.
