     Elaine’s Noodle Kugel

Ingredients
8 oz. pkg. fine noodles (soup noodles)
1 ½ sticks margarine or butter (or both)
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 lb. creamed cottage cheese
2 oz. cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
5 eggs
1/2 pint sour cream
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cook noodles – drain. Cream together with electric beater cream cheese, cottage cheese, sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Melt margarine in 9 x 9 baking pan. In another bowl – mix graham cracker crumbs with 2 Tablespoons melted margarine. Set aside. Mix noodles in pan with remaining margarine. Mix creamed ingredients into pan. Top with graham cracker crumbs.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees (325 degrees for glass pan).
Note- Double recipe for 13 x 9 pan
