1 cup shortening

1 3/4 cups sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla
|

1 cup sour cream
|
| |
4 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda
|

1 tsp. baking powder
|
| |
1/4 tsp. salt
|

Instructions |

|
Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
|
|
|
|
Slowly add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
|
|
|
|
Mix together. Dough will be soft and sticky but do not panic. Chill
overnight DO NOT add more flour
|
|
|
|
Dust board with flour and roll out dough. Bake cookies at 350
degrees for 8-10 min.
