In sauce pan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt. Over low
heat bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add
vanilla and baking soda. Mix well.
Pour mixture over popcorn and mix well. Bake at 250 degrees in
roaster for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Spread on wax paper to cool.
