     Creme Brulee

Ingredients
1 extra large egg
4 extra large egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp orange liqueur (or OJ)
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In Kitchen-Aid with paddle attachment, mix egg, egg yolks, and 1/2 cup sugar together on low speed until just combined. Scald cream until very hot but not boiled. With mixer on low, slowly add cream. Add vanilla and orange liqueur. Pour into 6 to 8 dishes until almost full.
Place dishes in a baking pan and pour boiling water into pan to come half way up the dishes.
Bake 35-40 minutes, until custards are set when gently shaken. Remove from water, cool to room temperature, and refrigerate until firm.
Spread 1 tbsp sugar on top of each custard and caramelize. Allow sugar to harden. Serve with fruit.
