Flour nuts and fruits with 1/2 c of the flour.
Mix cake as a butter cake, adding 1 whole egg
at a time. Add flour and applesauce. Add
floured fruits and nuts last.Cook 30 minutes at
350 degrees, then reduce to 250 degrees and
cook 3 hours in loaf pan.
