2 lbs pinto beans
|

2 lbs bacon, diced
|
|
2 bunches cilantro, chopped
|

2 cans diced tomatoes
|

2 large onions, diced
|

2 links pork n beef sausage
|

1/4 cup salt (or to taste)
|
|
5 Tbsp cumin (or to taste)
|
|
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
|
|

6 Quarts water
|
|
pinch of sugar
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Render bacon on medium low heat. Add onion and
sweat.
|
|
|
Add water and remaining ingredients except sausage.
Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium low. Cook 3-
4 hours until beans are tender.

Add sausage and cook until heated through, about
15-20 minutes.
|
