Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix sour cream, soup, and melted butter in a large
mixing bowl. Add potatoes, salt, and pepper; mix well. Pour into a 3 qt casserole dish,
cover with tin foil, and bake for 1 hour.
Uncover potatoes, add cheese, and bake until cheese is melted (about 5 minutes).
