Pastry- process flour, salt and sugar to combine. Add butter and
pulse 12 times til size of small peas. Add water with motor
running til it starts to come together. Knead quickly into a ball.
Wrap in plastic and chip 1 hr or more. Could possibly use puff
pastry or pie dough.

400 oven...line pan with PARCHMENT. Roll dough slightly larger
than 10 x 14. Trim edges. pale on prepared sheet and chill while
making apple slices.

Peel apples and cut half through. Remove stem and core with
knife and melon baller. Slice 1/4 inch and overlap slices
diagonally down the middle. Don't use ends. Sprinkle with 1/2 c
sugar and dot with butter.

Bake 45-1hr. til pastry is browned and the eyes of the apples start
to brown. When done, heat jelly and calvados and brush on
completely. Loosesn tart with metal spatula. Cool and serve warm
or at room temp. Very good
