Brown the beef with the garlic in a large pot on medium high
heat, drain off the excess fat. Add tomato sauce, hotel, salt
and spices. Stir and cover and reduce heat to low for 30
minutes.
Add beans stir to combine and then cover and simmer
another 20 minutes,
Add masa with warm water and stir to form a paste add to
chili and stir to combine, simmer to thicken 10 minutes
