     4-H Bread in a Bag

Add to large freezer bag-
1 c all purpose flour
1 c whole wheat flour
1 pkg rapid rise yeast
3 T sugar
3 T nonfat dry milk
1 t salt
Shake and work bag with fingers to blend ingredients
add 1 c hot water 125 to 130 F
3 T vegetable oil
Reseal bag and work bag with fingers to mix
Open bag and add enough flour to make a stiff dough 3/4 to 1 cup
Squeeze our the air and seal bag squeeze until bag pulls away from the dough
put a little flour on your hands the remove dough from bag place on clean work surface dusted flour

Use fingers to fold dough and heel of your hand to knead the dough. Cover the dough with clean cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes. Make a rectangle on floured surface with dough by rolling it with rolling pin. roll up the dough and pinch the ends and the long seam closed. It should look loaf shaped when you are done. Place the dough pinched seam down in a loaf pan that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray, cover and let rise in a warm draft free place for 6 minutes or until doubled in size.bake bread for 30-35 minutes at 400. Remove bread from pan and cool on wire rack for 15 minutes before cutting
