Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9x13 pan with
shortening. Place flour, sugar, baking powder,
salt and melted butter in a large mixing bowl. Stir
together with fork until crumbly. Break up large
clumps.
Take out 1/2 cup of the crumbs and set aside. In
a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Add
to mixture in the big bowl. There will be small
lumps. Pour in the prepared pan. Spread the
cherry pie filling over. Sprinkle with reserved
crumbs. Bake 40 - 45 minutes. Begin checking at
35 minutes.
warm with ice cream is yummy too. Rueben saw a
picture of this and wanted me to make it.
