     Spinach Artichoke Dip

Ingredients
2 T. butter
1 medium onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 (6 oz. ) jar marinated artichokes, drained and chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut into cubes
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
 
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
Tortilla chips or crackers

Instructions
In large skillet melt butter, add onion and cook 8 minutes, until golden. Add garlic and cook about 1 minute. Stir in spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 cup cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
Place in oven proof 2 quart dish and top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until warmed through.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with chips or crackers
