Place chicken breasts in a large nonstick skillet on your stove. Add 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook gently until tender, about 15 minutes. Or place in a baking dish, add 1/4 cup water, cover and bake at 350 degrees until they are tender, about 40-60 minutes. While chicken is cooking combine ketchup, soup, sugar and pineapples. mix well. Stir in green pepper slices if you wish. Cut cooked chicken into chunks. Place in slow cooker. Pour sauce over chicken. Stir slightly. Cover and cook on high 2 hours.
