Place potatoes in slow cooker. Add sausage. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, soup and salad dressing mix until smooth. Pour over potatoes and sausage. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender, stirring half way through cooking time if you're home. Stir again before serving.
