     Dutch Meatloaf

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 med onion chopped
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 egg beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
 
Sauce
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp prepared mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar or molasses

Instructions
Lightly mix top ingredients, form into a loaf. Place in shallow pan, or loaf pan. Bake 350F oven about an hour Then add sauce and continue baking 1 1/4 hours longer, basting occasionally.
Warning- if you are using a glass dish, be sure to heat the sauce before pouring over the hot loaf.
Serving Suggestions
Serve over bed of noodles or rice.
