In a large bowl, 2 cups flour, 4 tsp baking
powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 2 tbs sugar, 3/4 tsp
salt, 5 tbs unsalted butter. mix dry
ingredients, cut in butter. add 1 cup lait
fermente, stir until incorporated. place onto a
floured board, fold a few times gently, flatten
to about 1 inch thick, cut with a 2 inch cutter
(yes, I brought them from the US ;-) put on
baking sheet and bake for 15- mins in a 450
degree (235 C) oven!
Substitution- If you do not have buttermilk,
you can use one tablespoon lemon juice per cup
of milk. Let sit for a few minutes before
using.
