Simple and delicious Pot Roast

3 -4lbs chuck roast, trimmed of excess fat
|
|
10 to 11 ounce can Campbell's French onion soup
|
|
10 to 11 oz can Cream of Mushroom Soup
|
|
or use Cream of Celery or Cream of Chicken
|
|
2 T cajun seasoning such as Tony Chatchery's
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Thaw roast if frozen. Trim excess fat (a little is ok!). Rub all over with cajun seasoning, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Put roast in bottom.
Mix together both soups, and pour over.
|
|
|
Cook on low heat until tender and falling apart. Slice and keep in gravy.
