2 POUNDS OF GROUND BEEF
1/2 ONION
5 CUPS OF MILK
2 TABLESPOON OF CHICKEN BOUILLON
2 TABLESPOON OF BUTTER
1 TEASPOON OF GROUND SAGE
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
1/2 CUPS OF FLOUR
 

Instructions
CRUMBLE THE GROUND BEEF INTO A LARGE SKILLET OVER MED - HIGH HEAT.COOK AND STIR UNTILL EVENLY BROWN.DRAIN MOST OF THE GREASE .LEAVING ENOUGH TO COAT PAN.ADD THE ONIONS AND COOK FOR A FEW MORE MINUTES. POUR 4 CUPS OF THE MILK INTO THE PAN,STIR UP ANY BITS OF FOOD THAT COULD HAVE BURN ON THE BOTTOM OF PAN.MIX IN THE BOUILLON ,BUTTER,SAGE,SALT AND PEPPER.BRING TO BOIL,COOK 5 MINUTES,STIRRING FREQUENTLY.
MIX THE FLOUR INTO THE LAST CUP OF MILK UNTIL SMOOTH.SLOWLY POUR INTO SKILLET.STIRRING CONSTANTLY.SIMMER FOR A FEW MINUTES TO THICKEN.IF THE GRAVY IS TO THICK THIN OUT BY ADDING SOME MILK.IF IT IS TO THIN AND ADD MORE FLOUR SIMMER LONGER.
