2 CUPS UNCOOKED ELBOW MACARONI
1/2 CUP BUTTER
2 (12 OZ) CANS EVAPORATED MILK
1 TBS PEPPER
3 EGGS
1 TSP SALT
4 CUPS SHREDDED CHEDDER CHEESE
1 PINCH PAPRIKA
 

Instructions
PREHEAT OVEN TO 425 DEGREES SPRAY A 9X13 CASSEROLE DISH FILL A LARGE POT WITH LIGHTLY SALTED WATER AND BRING TO A BOIL.STIR IN MACARONI AND RETURN TO A BOIL.COOK PASTA UNCOVERED.COOK FOR ABOUT 8 MINUTES.
SLOWLY MELT BUTTER IN A LARGE POT OVER LOW HEAT. STIR IN EVAPORATED MILK AND PEPPER,COOK UNTIL HEATED THTOUGH. WHISK EGGS IN A BOWL UNTIL SMOOTH,WHISK ABOUT 1/2 OF EVAPORATED MILK MIXTURE INTO THE EGGS.WHISK THE EGG MIXTURE BACK INTO THE SAUCEPAN WITH EVAPARATED MILK MIXTURE.CONTIUNE TO HEAT GENTLY.WHISKING CONSTSNTLY,UNTIL THE EVAPORATED MILK MIXTURE ALMOST COMES TO A SIMMER AND THE SAUCE THICHENS.
GENTLY MIX SALT AND COOKED MIXTURE INTO THE SAUCE AND STIR TO COMBINE. SPOON 1/4 OF THE MACARONI IN A LAYER INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE PERPARED CASSEROLE DISH TOP WITH 1 CUP SHREDDED CHESSE REPEAT LAYERS UNTIL FILL TOP WITH CHEESE.TOP WITH PAPRIKA TO TASTE. BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTILL CHEESE IS BROWN.
