     Garlic-butter Steaks

Ingredients
2-6 oz. beef sirloin or ribeye steaks
1 tsp. garlic powder
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 large thinly sliced yellow onion
1 thinly sliced red bell pepper
1 stick butter softened
3 minced cloves
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 loaf of sour dough bread or Vienna bread- sliced and toasted
 

Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Sprinkle onto steaks. Marinate for 1 hour.
In a heated skillet with remaining 2 Tbsp. oil, saute onions and bell peppers until tender. Remove. Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Remove. Stir in soy sauce. Set aside.
Grill steaks. Cut steak in slices across the grain and let soak in warm garlic-butter mixture.
To serve, pile onion/pepper mixture over bread slices. Then top that with the steak slices.
