Ingredients
1 cup soft butter
2/3 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup confectioner sugar
1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam
3/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon milk
 

Instructions
preheat oven to 350. in med bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.mix 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.mix in flour until dough comes together. roll into balls of 1 inch and place on ungreased cookie sheets. make a small hole in center of each ball using thumb and finger, fill hole with raspberry jam.
bake for 14 to 18 mins until light brown, cool for 1 minute. in another bowl mix the 3/4 teapoon of almond extract confectioners sugar and milk. drizzle over cookies. a family favorite for christmas they will go fast so i double up the recipe..
