prepared 9 inch pie crust

4-6 C fresh strawberries, quartered and hulled

1 C water

1 C sugar

1 3 oz box of Strawberry Jell-O
|

3 Tbs. cornstarch

Instructions |

|
Put the water, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Whisk constantly until thick; takes about 3 minutes.
|

Whisk in Jell-O and cook for a minute longer. Remove from heat and let cool for about 15 minutes.
|
|
|
As the glaze cools, place the strawberries directly into the pie crust. Pour the glaze over the strawberries.
|
|
|
Refrigerate until set. Decorate with whipped cream before serving.
