Juice of 2 limes, use rinds to salt rim of glasses

4 Jalpeno Stuffed Olives
Kosher Salt
1 Jalapeno, seeded and sliced
Instructions
Prepare the glasses
Spread Kosher salt in a plate that is slightly larger that the diameter of the martini glass. Wet the rim of the glass with the rind of the lime and swirl lip of glass in the salt. Skewer 2 olives on a toothpick and set in glass.
Make the Martini
Add the tequila, orange liqueur, simple syrup and lime juice to a cocktail shaker,1-2 slices of jalapenos then fill with ice. cover and shake well. Strain into a prepared glass and enjoy.
I love the Texas Martini at Chuy's and my sister, Celia sent this to me to make at home. It's pretty darn good! I will double or triple the portions and pour into an airtight container and leave it in the refrigerator to serve for a crowd.
