Combine- beef, soy sauce, garlic, browning sauce, soup mix and
water. Place in roaster in oven. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2
hours. Lightly brown onion rings in butter; add to beef. Continue
cooking for 30 minutes or until beef is tender. Remove roast from
cooking liquid and let stand 20 minutes before carving. Add 2 cups
water to cooking liquid. Keep hot. Carve roast into thin slices. Return
slices and serve in cooking liquid.
