     Overnight French Toast Casserole

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
12 slices white bread
2/3 to 1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 to 6 eggs
1-1/2 cups milk
 

Instructions
Melt butter in 13x9 baking pan. Put 6 slides of bread in bottom of pan. In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of sugar mixture over the bread. Add another layer of 6 slices of bread.
In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk until well blended. Pour over bread layers. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and continue baking 15 minutes until set and browned.
