Cream margarine, crisco and sugar, beat until
smooth. Add egg yolks and beat well. Sift flour
then measure and sift again with baking powder.
Add flour alternately with buttermilk to first
mixture.
Add vanilla, coconuts and nuts. Fold in beaten egg
whites.
Pour into two 9 inch greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting (see recipe).
