     Slow Cooker Sloppy Joe Chicken

Ingredients
2-1/2 C. canned crushed tomatoes
1/4 C. tomato paste
2 T. red wine vinegar
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. honey
1 T. molasses
1-1/2 lbs raw boneless skinless chicken breasts, halved
1/2 t. each salt and black pepper
2 C. chopped onions
 
2 C. chopped red bell peppers

Instructions
In slow cooker, combine crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey and molasses. Stir to mix.
Season chicken with salt and pepper, add to slow cooker. Top with onions and bell peppers. Mix well.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours, until chicken cooked through and veggies softened.
Transfer chicken to large bowl, shred with two forks. Return to slow cooker, mix well.
Serving Suggestions
1. Serve over cooked spaghetti squash. 2. Serve on flat sandwich bun. 3. Sprinkle part-skim mozzarella on pita, top with sloppy chicken, bake.
