     Sausage Spinach Loaf

Ingredients
Pillsbury Pizza Crust
Veggie Crumbles or real Sausage
10 oz Frozen Chopped Spinach
Package of Grated Cheese (Pepper Jack)
 

Instructions
Pillsbury Pizza Crust from the Dairy section is now preferable to the frozen dough (due to the defrosting explosion of 2015). Defrost the spinach and wring out any excess water. Roll out the pizza crust into a large rectangle. Place the spinach, veggie crumbles (or cooked sausage) and cheese in the center of the rectangle. Fold the dough over the ingredients and hold together with toothpicks.
You can put an egg white/milk wash over the dough before baking. Place in a cookie sheet/pan that has sides. Bake in the oven according to the Pizza Dough recipe and check on it. You may need to cook for a little longer than the instructions.
