Combine all the cookie ingredients. Roll out on floured cupboard and
cut the house pieces using the pattern provided. Place the cut pieces
on a large greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15
minutes. You don't want it to brown much on the sides because it is
harder to trim then.

Take the cookie pieces off the cookie sheet and place the pattern on
top each one and trim with a knife any excess cookie. Let the cookie
pieces become hard with the air. They are more sturdy that way. You
don't need to cover them.

ICING- Beat the icing ingredients till it holds a stiff shape. Add more
icing sugar if needed. Place a wet towel over top the bowl with the
icing in it to keep the icing moist until time to use it. It dries hard fast
so the wet towel is important.

10 houses uses approximately 4 pkgs. of icing sugar with extra left
over.
